The Gloam is a small-group theater studio in Downtown Basking Ridge for children ages 4-16. Through acting, puzzles, immersive stories, and ensemble work, students build confidence, imagination, collaboration and real performance skills—without the competitive atmosphere.
We also offer an adult community for the artist continuing to learn the craft at a higher level.

DUST BUNNIES: Pre-K - 2nd grade begin by learning to imagine and play
GLOAMLINGS: 3rd-6th grade learn to listen, respond, and work as an ensemble inside a story
APPRENTICES: 7th-10th grade bring those stories to life for others through ancient story telling techniques from across the globe.
Each stage builds toward the same goal:
presence, connection, and truthful participation in a shared world.
