Who We Are
We come together in the Gloam Keeper’s Room to make ourselves and our world better by examining folk tales from around the world. We ask questions, solve puzzles, and support each other’s strengths and weaknesses through telling and building stories.
What We Do
Why We Do It
Old stories carry old wisdom. In a noisy world, we create a structured place to practice virtues like courage, honesty, self-control, and kindness by diving into stories that ask us to become more than we are.
-Drop-off 60-minute sessions, led by the Gloam Keeper and the Keeper’s Apprentice.
-Each meeting introduces a Reflection (a classical virtue) to explore through that week’s folk tale and advances the story of The Gloam itself.
-Each cohort changes the outcome of the Gloam’s story each week as they solve puzzles, make choices and reveal more of who they are as a group and as individuals.
how it works
Created and led by Angela Masi—director, and theater educator and mother of five. The Gloam is intentionally small, structured, and focused on craft, character, and wonder.
