The Answer
The second marker tells the truth. The first road is the safe one!
If marker 4 is telling the truth, then marker 3 can’t be, as only one marker is honest. So 3 and 4 must both be liars.
If marker 3 is lying, then marker 2 must be telling the truth.
If marker 2 tells the truth, then the road to it’s left (road 1) must be the safe road.
